Smoothie Maker

Posted on April 27, 2010.
Smoothie MakerWhat is the difference between a smoothie maker and a juicer?

I have just given a Kenwood Smoothie Junior Machine for my birthday and I made smoothies with no problems, but now I am trying to make juice.

In particular, I want to make carrot juice, but I fear that my smoothie maker will not be able to process the carrots. (Too fragile or not enough power) then is there a difference between a smoothie maker and a juicer?

Yes Your smoothie maker will turn to mush as the carrot baby food. Centrifuge extract only the juice and keep separate the slurry. Good luck!

Yes, you will need a juicer, because it pulls the dough.

The smoothie maker can crush the berries. You need a juicer to mashed hard vegetables like carrots
