Silver Flatware Patterns

Silver Flatware PatternsWhere can I find models for sterling silver flatware antique Italian made?

I have two pieces of sterling silver flatware.I was told it was made by an antique Italian. A play is a shovel-shaped spoon with a naked lady on the handle. The other is what I would call a butter knife. It was a naked man on the parts are handle. Both approx. 5 1 / 2 long. Can anyone give me info. on these and if their value?

They will certainly be something, and the novelty value will add a bit as there are collectors of this kind of question. There should be a hall-mark on them for dating. An antique dealer should give you a price estimate. A museum like the hardware department at the Victoria & Albert Museum may recognize the style. Otherwise, take them to an auction house for a decent score. The online evaluations are not really possible that items must be addressed by an expert.
