try the freezer before you set the color of the wax in. We just received a product called "candle wax remover, by Goo Gone at Bed Bath and Beyond. you can try the following if necessary. Good luck, and so is the guy, not the dude-ette.

if it is color you are screwed. put a piece o paper on top of it and press it with a hot iron, do several times to absorb the wax. the color is dyed and probly will not come out. hand wash do not put in the dryer.

It should come right off, or wash in the laundry.

machine wash delicate with dishwasher detergent liquid.Or not do it by hand rinse.
