Find my grandmother's cookbook end heres a recipe.? rolls with ginger orange
4ozs sugar
orange zest 5
2 eggs
half teaspoon baking soda
3 ounces butter
1 tablespoon ground ginger
half teaspoon cream of tartar
threequarter Book flour
milk
Mix all dry ingredients and beat 2 eggs, add dry ingredients add enough milk to form a stiff dough.
Bake in well greased tins Patty and paste a nut on top of each cake.
I had the impression that this out of his so very good and a little different ... I do not want to scrape all the oranges Tho ... probably one and add some thawed frozen concentrated OJ. maybe 2 T instead of just milk. I'm intrigued, I have not had breakfast yet, and I think I'll have this! I hope I can weigh the flour that I use for cutting the designation. Regarding tin Patty, I think filling a box 1 / 4 muffin would be complete ...? Must see what I have.
I love the recipes, particularly the collection and from between them. But who was your grandmother and how old is this recipe it was in the book from his hand or was it printed in the book. I have my husband cookbooks paternal grandmothers. When cleaning the house after his death, they would throw them away! His ratings are a delight and precious to me. I wanted this book to my daughter.

A tip
you can omit the cream of tartar and soda and use 1 tsp teaspoon baking powder in place ...
