Pancake Pan

Posted on April 30, 2010.
Pancake PanHow do I get the flavor of the meat on a pan of pancakes?

My mother cooked steak in my crepe pan, I made a crepe and it tasted like meat. How do I get rid of this residue season???

Soak it well and rub with a pad and baking soda, then wash with a soft and hard flat dish soap, like dawn or the sun or with lemon.
Or run it through the dishwasher can do but be careful cause some pots n pans explicitly say no dishwasher.

Wash

Wash it in the sink if it still feels a bit put bicarb on it and rub

Coat the pan with bi carb soda and a little lemon juice
Let sit for about 5 minutes. Wash in hot water and dish soap, dry. the smell should be gone!

Wash well, then put baking soda in it and let it sit for a while. Wash it well again. The baking soda should absorb orders.

Bi carb (baking soda) and lemon should do the trick. Do not scrub with anything too hard that you could remove the nonstick coating.
