Oster Rice Cooker

Posted on April 26, 2010.
Oster Rice CookerRecipes for two-tier Oster Rice Cooker / Steam?

I have a new rice cooker two levels Oster / steam. The idea is that you can cook two items at once. There are two steam baskets - one on the other. There is a dish that is suitable for cooking rice. I do not know if I can link, but here the cooking appliance on the site Oster: http://www.oster.com/ProductCategory.asp ...

It's a nice boat, but the book is super skinny. No real recipe. Just a few cooking time - and not very precise. On the website of the company, they list only three rice cooker recipes steam / and no level two.

I wanted to see if someone uses steam Oster double and has a good mix of recipes for a meal.

I also thought there might be some online groups that speak of Oster and share recipes like kitchen gadgets like the others Turbo Cooker. I did Google but did not find. Maybe someone here knows of one.

Thank you for any help.

In the image of the link that you have sent, there is a button that says recipes.
Why not click on it is not what you ask here.
Also remember that only a boat, you will not turn a great meal of six dishes with it, unless it's all vegetables.

As someone who just got my boat, I was surprised that there are few good resources for those of us who have never cooked this way. It is a type 3 levels. I wanted to know how to cook rice, chicken and vegetables at a time, without waste. It would have been nice for some advice! Flag

Other than the couple of recipes on the site Oster there is virtually no other online resources for this appliance.I guess they are waiting to experience. In terms of experimentation, you can find these videos as a starting point: http://www.expertvillage.com/video-series/318_steam-cooking.html Flag

I use a bamboo steamer (double) Put the rice on the bottom and one of your favorite vegetables on top or a piece of fish. It depends on what you want. Do not be afraid to experiment.

Definitely check http://www.highclassrecipes.com if you are looking for great recipes.
