Le Creuset Dutch OvenPosted on May 13, 2010. Is that a Le Creuset French oven, a quality piece of kitchen? Is a Le Creuset French oven a piece of the quality of the kitchen? I got mine for a wedding gift 22 years ago and is one of my favorite tools in the kitchen. I used it several times and he never missed. The emamel and color, the thick cast iron, and durability are the characteristics of this French oven that I love best. The color choices are the first thing that caught my attention. Throughout the years, they have always had the choice of excellent and varied colors. My French oven is kelly green, a color discontinued. With such a varied selection of colors that you can always find one that suits you or your kitchen. Even if I have a Le Creuset tea that is not a solid color noise, normally I'm a fan of it. While some colors I like, I do not really dark to light color changes that most new parts have. The enamel layer is what really makes the appearance of these special jars. The finish is always clean, bright and shiny. I am a big fan of the enamel. I love cooking in cast iron because the heat distribution is excellent. But the cast is a pain to clean and take care of, so covered enameled cast iron, like Le Creuset makes is excellent. I cooked with jars cheap and there is a huge difference between cheap pots thin and thick wall cast iron Le Creuset French oven. He cooks like a joy. I think the only drawback with cast iron cookware is that it is heavy so be sure to use both hands! My grandmother had an aqua Le Creuset pan when I was small, it is now owned by my mother. I suppose the stove is 60 years, apart from the design, you would not think it is more than five years. I guess my six pots and pans Le Creuset last the rest of my life, assuming that my son did not take them before I'm gone ... The size of the oven for 5 ½ quart French is perfect, you can cook most soups and stews for a few people, but it is not too big to manage easily. The prices of these can be a bit hard to swallow, but if you consider that you will not have to buy another French or Dutch oven for the rest of your life, the cost is not so bad. Or the best thing to do is put it on your wish list wedding! CommentsThere are no comments.Leave a Comment |
