Kitchenaid Mixer Attachments

Posted on April 28, 2010.
Kitchenaid Mixer AttachmentsKitchenAid stand mixer attachments, which uses them?

For owners KitchenAid stand mixer: Who has the attachments and accessories and how often do you use?

I have the slicer / shredder attachment and use it quite often, especially during the Christmas season. For example, crushing pecans for cookies is a pain in the neck without the attachment. The attachment is done in about 20 seconds.

Another thing I use it to grate cheese. Quiche is much easier with the attachment.

Yesterday I used to cut apples for strudel. You can also hash browns with her killer.

I could list all sorts of things, but since I had my mixer about a decade, it is a major element in my kitchen.

I used the pasta attachment, but not much. It works well, well.

I just wish I had one .... Perhaps next Christmas! I'd probably use a portion of the proceeds probably with the console to learn to use them.

I have the roller mill, pasta and a sausage grinder / pusher. I use the shredder much since I buy cheese in blocks and shred it myself. I have not had much time lately to play with two other more.
