I think the answer will depend in part on personal preferences and typical recipes you make. I bought the centrifuge, but not used often enough to have disturbed. On the other hand, if you regularly squeeze oranges for fresh juice, you get a lot of use out of it. I used the grinder to make sausage - again, not something I do every day. The slicer / shredder seems more versatile - you can use to prepare ingredients for cooking or salad.
