Cupcake Molds

Posted on April 24, 2010.
Cupcake MoldsHow do I cook with silicone cupcake molds?

Do I grease them or place them on a baking sheet or what? I had those silicone cupcake molds to make heart-shaped muffins banana bread. What should I do to make them work? They do not come with instructions. And I'm so confused!
Please help, Thanks, the magpie.

Yes your right they do not come with any instructions.
I use and I do the fat, and I do not bake on a cookie sheet.

Before first use, rinse with warm soapy water or in the dishwasher. Apply a thin layer of oil (or use a non-stick spray) to the state of the surface of the pan, if necessary. Wipe off any excess.

Before filling paste, place your silicone pan on a baking company. For the cupcakes and muffins, fill almost to top.

oven rack should be placed slightly below or in the middle of the oven. (Do not use pot over an open fire or heat a griddle or Gasburner). Preheat the oven: Turn the oven for a minimum of 30 minutes before cooking so that the oven has time to reach the desired temperature. Cakes, breads and muffins cook until golden brown every time. When cooking with silicone, you may need to adjust the cooking time by five or ten minutes.

Remove from pan immediately after cooking and place on rack to cool.

you can grease them with butter, then place in the mixture. put them in the oven and not on a cookie sheet and bake as usual
