Cook For The Cure

Posted on May 2, 2010.
Cook For The CureHow do you cook a ham?

I had slaughtered some pigs and one of the pieces I received was a ham. Did not ask, but it is good, but do not know how to prepare one. I guess I was assuming it was ready to eat, but when I opened the package, it clearly was not. Please help!

It depends on the type of ham is smoked, sugar cured or country
and how it is cut: the entire butt, shank whole, boneless whole or sliced.
