Cloth Aprons

Posted on May 4, 2010.
Cloth ApronsHow many women or men still wear aprons in the kitchen while cooking?

I was just wondering. I would like to make an apron with a towel terry cloth to wipe my hands and pockets to put things in. bit

I do not ... and aprons can be very fashionable. I always see JoAnn Fabrics stores offering them for each seasonal holiday. And men have 'em for barbecue. I hated having my clothes splattered, I like the coverage. Those servers (waitresses) bring with 3 pockets is practical for housework or gardening, too.

I do so ~ I collect retro aprons and more people prefer the most recent seen in stores.

I wouldif I could find my own - but the guys always seem to think they are paper towels to clean the floors! GRRRRRRR!

Aprons are great savers of your clothes, and I want to distinguish funky colored fabrics. My dad (who just started cooking after retirement) loves heavy cotton twill better. Always play aprons for my children to wear when painting / crafts / baking with me. They loved them as I decorate the aprons themselves. But as teenagers, they wear their clothes, so is saved spillage during cooking.

I do, and like them with pockets. I use them for cleaning, cooking, etc.I do not like to get dirt in my clothes.
