Certified International Dinnerware

I received the sunflower "pattern" as a gift there are no care instructions on the box or on the dishes themselves. Any advice would be appreciated. Thank you!

Silver International dishes in the dishwasher, EXCEPT KNIVES, if they have hollow handles. The dry cycle will melt the glue that holds the blade in the handle and you end up with something that you do not want. To obtain a varnish to use on a paste of baking soda and water and rub with thumb and fingers and then polish with a soft cloth.
