If you like the idea of a cake, but not to a bottle or crib, you can use this simple recipe and easy to make a delicious baby shower cupcakes. Ingredients: ½ cup sugar ½ cup butter, at room temperature 2 eggs, at room temperature 1 1 c. teaspoon cornstarch 1 cup milk ½ tsp teaspoon baking powder teaspoon vanilla pink food coloring blue food white cake frosting muffin pan lined with paper cups. Preheat oven to 375 º F. In a medium bowl, mix butter and sugar. With electric mixer and beat together on medium speed until light and fluffy. Add eggs one at a time, beating until smooth. Then add the milk and cornstarch. Continue beating 4-5 minutes or until smooth. Add yeast and vanilla and beat until well blended. Divide the cake batter into two small bowls. In a bowl, add just enough pink food coloring to turn the dough pink. In the second bowl, add just enough blue food coloring to turn the batter blue. Pour batter into muffin tins lined meadow. Bake for 15-20 minutes or until a toothpick inserted in center comes out clean. When done remove from oven and cool completely. Frosting. Divide the white icing into two small bowls. Pink bowl with food coloring and the second blue bowl. Ice cupcakes with the same color icing.
